Born in 1977 GC, Dereje Lemma Guya is a testament to the power of artistic heritage. As the son of the world-renowned Laureate Artist Captain Lemma Guya, Dereje’s journey into the world of color and canvas began at the tender age of four. Inspired by his father’s legendary mastery, Dereje has dedicated his life to preserving and evolving the family’s artistic signature. Today, he carries the torch forward by specializing in the intricate and traditional medium of goat skin painting. His work serves as a bridge between generations, blending a deep respect for his father’s footsteps.
